Can you believe how fast 2023 has gone by? After 15 years of business, it was quite the honor to be recognized in Coeur d'Alene Magazine. Owning a leather shop is no easy business, especially when you are the lead maker, designer, head cook, and farm manager. There are days where I can't believe how many different hats I wore in 2023. I remember working very late nights to get to the point where we are now. The article outlines how I got started and what drew me away from my career to start making jewelry and leather goods. This magazine comes out twice a year and is available for all to get a copy and see the local highlights.
Justin my husband took on doing the farmer's market on Saturday Mornings in Hayden, Idaho and he did a wonderful job. We did fewer shows this year in the North Idaho area but our store was as busy as ever and kept us going. So many tourists, locals, visitors and campers from every state.
We started 2023 off in Arizona with a bang at Art of Cowgirl, Tubac Art Festival, The Scottsdale Arabian Show, Litchfield Park Art and Wine, Cave Creek Art and Wine and Tempe Art Festival.
The Silo Store went into full swing early spring. This year we were Harvest Hosts for RV folks who were traveling the United States. We had many stay with us and enjoy our store and scenery at the farm. Our farm is large enough for big Class A motorhomes and large toy haulers. We are host again for this coming 2024.
At the Farm this year we also held Country Night Concerts with Professional Country Musicians and Singers. Each night we hosted wonderful dinners, entertainment and activities. These too will carry over into 2024.
Thank you all for supporting us and we hope to see you in 2024.
